Digna M. Rodriguez

Digna M. Rodriguez is Compensation and Benefits Design Advisor for US, Latin America and Canada. She has over 15 years of experience conducting total compensation (base salary, variable pay, perks and benefits) surveys throughout Latin America, designing salary programs and benefits (mainly health care and life plans) for multinational oil company affiliates. Responsible to manage medical and life insurance contracts performance, renewals and modifications including the administration of the Health & Life plans Multinational Pool Arrangement. In this role, she maintained a continuous working relationship with providers and affiliates in country to ensure plans design and performance meet the desired goals and ensure that plans are up to date with local regulations. She also coordinated total compensation surveys for Canada and the U.S. through a third party and developed salary programs to maintain company desired pay competitiveness.

Prior to becoming ExxonMobil Compensation and Benefits Design Advisor, Digna worked for more than 15 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity with Esso Standard Oil Co Puerto Rico. She occupied various managerial positions within the company such as Caribbean Customer Service Center Manager – Fuels & Lubes centralized ordering & supply center for all the Caribbean Esso Affiliates customers, PR & USVI Operations Manager, PR & USVI Human Resources Manager, PR Terminal Manager, and Human Resources Manager for Central Caribbean Division (PR, USVI, Dominican Republic and Haiti). In addition, Digna received production experience during her tenure with Union Carbide (acquired by DOW Chemical), a petrochemical industry where she occupied various positions being responsible for production optimization, supply and shipping coordination, emergency strategies, process overview within others.

Digna has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico (Mayaguez Campus). She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
